EXTRACTIONS
At Preston House Dental, we will try and save your natural teeth. Sometimes teeth cannot be repaired and having it removed is the best option.
Your tooth may need to be taken out for a number of reasons such as:
• an abscess on your gums or around your teeth
• wisdom teeth that can break through the surface and get stuck
• extensive tooth decay
• severe gum disease
• a broken tooth
At Preston House Dental, we will fully explain your options before you choose to have your tooth (or teeth) taken out. In some more complex cases a surgical extraction may be needed. This may happen if a tooth has broken off at the gum line or has not come into the mouth yet.
We will fully inform you of what you can expect after the extraction and recommend a care plan for you.
